Q-code cheat sheet (CW)
Q-codes are shorthand questions and statements. On CW you'll hear them as ordinary letters at speed. This is a beginner shortlist — not the full ITU list.

| QRM | Man-made interference. | |
| QRN | Natural noise / static. | |
| QRS | Send more slowly. | |
| QRQ | Send faster. | |
| QRZ | Who is calling me? | |
| QSB | Fading signal. | |
| QSL | Can you acknowledge receipt? / I acknowledge. | |
| QSO | A contact / conversation. | |
| QSY | Change frequency. | |
| QTH | Location. | |
| QRT | Stop sending / going off the air. |
